The July Edit

This month’s design focus is all about the beach house look for a truly summery design scheme. Coastal schemes are so easy to create with our fabrics, especially our Zoe & Bee fabrics. You can simply layer tonal textures and build a unique scheme for your home.

Fabrics Featured:

Mottram Meadow Inky Sky - this is a versatile fabric that can be used for anything (curtains, blinds, cushions etc) including general domestic upholstery so in this scheme we would recommend it for upholstering a a statement armchair or footstool to create some printed textural interest in your room scheme. Add cushions in the Sea Tangle Inky on white with pompom trims or navy piping.

Curtains: Willow Mesh Inky Sky on white linen. This chunky wide textural stripe is the ultimate beach fabric and will make your room scheme feel fresh and summer all year round. Add roman blinds in Sea Tangle Inky on white and cushions in Coquillages, Twiggy and Eucalyptus Bark (all from our Zoe & Bee Collection and available as ready made cushions).

Walls:

We would suggest painting your walls in natural tones for a beach house look. Try Fenwick & Tilbrook Osborn Interiors’ Cotswold Cottage for a warm neutral linen wall tone or Oyster (also by Fenwick & Tilbrook) for a warm ivory.

Accessories:

Willow Mesh Re-cycled Cotton Throws. Take a look at our summer essentials for our linen beach bag and make up bag. Add a summery fragrance to your home with our Meadowlands scented candle

Outdoor Cushions:

If you’re looking for cushions for your outdoor seating take a look at our water resistant Sea Tangle outdoor cushions.
