NEWS this week...

Team ZGHQ in my design studio for the day.

We have been busy bees here at ZGHQ this week. I’ve been promising the team for a long time that I would do a printing session with them in my studio to give them a taster in the basics of hand printing - just for fun! It was team building with a difference!

So this week we finally pressed pause and spent the day all together printing all sorts of patterns and colours. I think I can safely say it was a huge success and everyone became thoroughly engrossed in printing. It’s such a mediative process and so relaxing to do either on your own or in a small group. We were really getting down to basics with potato printing to begin with and then moving onto lino carved printing. It was a lovely way to spend the day and there was a lot of mess and a lot of laughter. Not only that, it seems that our team may have some hidden talents with one of the designs produced being so lovely that it may well be the beginnings of something we later produce as fabric for you! More on this later so stay tuned.

In other news we’ve added more lampshades made to order onto our lampshade page in the NEW AVENTURAS fabrics so hopefully you’ll be inspired and able to visualise how these fabrics translate as shades. Do remember that all of our shades are handmade to order and can therefore be made in any fabric so if you can’t see one you would like to order and have something new in mind please email sales@zoeglencross.com.
