Design Scheme of the Week

With warm ochres and soft blues being evidently on trend as well as timelessly understated as a colour combination, we’ve selected some of our favourite fabrics to build a design scheme, suitable for any room around these colour tones.

Spotted in House & Garden this month these colour tones work so well, creating an inviting, classic vibe with even minimal patterning. For those of you who love to layer pattern, there’s a number of printed fabrics in our collections that would sit well with these tones, as well as the blues tiles from our beautiful Aventuras Tile Collection with Ca’ Pietra.

We would recommend the following paints within this scheme:

Celestial Blue by Little Greene

Lamp Room Grey by Farrow & Ball

Denimes by Farrow & Ball

Bombolone by Little Greene (for a warm ochre)

FABRICS FEATURED ABOVE:

Windmill Wood Dew

Honeycomb Teal

Bisous Antique Ochre & Teal

Perdu Teal

You might like to explore our Coeur de Paris Collection for some playful, bold teal and ochre printed fabrics, perfect for curtains, blinds and upholstery.

The gloriously golden Pont D’Amour fabric makes stunning relaxed roman blinds for a playful Parisian vibe.

The Bisous printed two tone linen in Antique Ochre & Teal works well to make a design statement as upholstery.

Tiles featured above are available as samples and by the square metre at Ca’ Pietra.
